The Academic Writing Center (AWC), based in the James A. Zimble Learning Center (LRC), is a 1-year pilot program created to strengthen writing among students, faculty, and staff. The AWC provides a variety of services: including one-on-one consultations, brown-bag workshops, and classroom support for faculty as requested. The AWC is free and open for all USU students, faculty, and staff. To make an appointment or to see more information about services, please click on the services link.
The AWC is staffed by an Academic Writing Specialist, Dr. Beth Steinbach, Ph.D. beginning in February 2022. Dr. Steinbach can meet virtually or in-person inside the LRC.
