It's noisy in the LRC. Is talking allowed?

Yes, in most of the LRC
Talking is allowed in most LRC spaces at reasonable volumes, including:
- the entire first floor of the LRC,
- the study rooms on the second floor,
- the tables on the east side of the second floor,
- and on the second floor patio.
The LRC welcomes students who need to converse and collaborate.
Quiet study area
The exception is the "Quiet Study" area on the west side of second floor of the LRC. This is the area of study tables near rooms D2012 and D2013. Please refrain from excessive talking in this area.

Please contact LRC staff to report excessive noise anywhere in the LRC.
