How do I search the USU Archives collections?

Answer

The University Archives for the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences collects, preserves, and makes available rare university materials; historical military medical and public health collections; and personal papers of enduring value from administrators, faculty, and alumni for the research use of the university and the general public.  The Archives collects manuscripts, oral histories, rare books, audio-visual materials, and artifacts relating to the history of the university and the history of military medicine.

In order to search the USU Archives Digital Repository, please go here. View a tutorial for navigating the digital repository here. Some of the following collections are restricted to users with a USU SSO account. To view these collections click on the "USO SSO Login" button prior to searching.

To search the USU Archives physical collections, you may wish to first look at the finding aid for the collection you are interested in. Finding aids can be searched here and provide a good starting point for collection use. Please contact the Archives to arrange use of the materials.

Visiting scholars or members of the general public that wish to perform onsite research may access the Archives by appointment only. Any researchers coming from outside the military base will need to be sponsored. Please contact the Archives with your questions or comments.
