How do I link my CAC to my USU Single Sign On (USU-SSO) account?

What it does:
It is possible to link (register) your CAC with your USU Single Sign On (USU-SSO) account. Once linked, you will have the option to log into your USU-SSO account using your CAC (instead of using your username and password).
You will need:
- An active CAC
- A computer with a CAC reader
- A USU Single Sign On (USU-SSO) account, with username and password
Steps:
- Insert your CAC into the CAC reader
- Open a web browser and go to https://altlogin.usuhs.edu/
- Click on USU Google Apps
- You should now be at the USU-SSO login screen. Under CAC Sign In, click on the link that reads, Register your CAC (requires sign-in).
- The link is in small text and is underneath the Sign In With CAC button.
- This may open a new tab to the same USU-SSO login screen. At this new tab, use your USU-SSO username and password to log in.
- You should now be at a USU-SSO CAC REGISTRATION screen. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the registration process.
Once your CAC has been registered with your USU-SSO account, you will be able to log in at the USU-SSO login screen using your CAC.
